    A phased re-opening of the Kelowna Family Y, H2O Adventure + Fitness Centre and the Downtown Y, beginning with health and fitness, will be determined in collaboration with the City of Kelowna and an announcement will be made as soon as possible.

    The YMCA of Okanagan is committed to supporting Okanagan communities during this pandemic. In order to address a community need in Penticton, the charitable organization is now offering extended child care hours for Essential Service Workers.

    YMCA Healthy Kids Day is a national Y initiative with the goal of bringing families together to engage in fun, active play, and learn healthier habits to help them grow and thrive. The Y has cancelled the event to ensure the health and safety of community members during the COVID crisis.

    The YMCA of Okanagan announced today that it will be offering licensed out of school care for those children of parents who are performing essential services in Kelowna. 

  • YMCA offers Essential Child Care Program in Penticton

    During COVID-19, the YMCA of Okanagan will provide child care for those who work in essential services. The YMCA is following all precautions and health recommendations from local and provincial health authorities in the delivery of this needed service.

  • YMCA of Okanagan Health, Fitness and Aquatic Centres to close today due to COVID-19 pandemic

    The YMCA of Okanagan has announced that it will be temporarily closing its Health, Fitness and Aquatic Centres as of 8 p.m. Monday, March 16 in their response to preventing community spread of the COVID-19 virus.
