Health Screening Tool

We're asking that all guests to our health, fitness and aquatic centres complete a 3-question screening process before entering the facility. You can now do this ahead of time online! Just complete the questions on your handheld device and show the green screen to the staff member who greets you.

As a member of the YMCA of Okanagan, I agree to the following code of conduct and will…

  • Stay home when I am sick. I will not enter the YMCA if I have had symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 10 days; have been directed by Public Health to self-isolate, have arrived from outside of Canada within the last 14 days or have been in contact with someone who has.
  • Adhere to a pre-screening questionnaire every time I enter the building. Complete online
  • Have my membership card ready to scan to access the facility.
  • Respect the physical distancing markers and maintain a safe physical distance at all times – at least 2 m / 6 ft.
  • Properly wash my hands often and use proper hygiene etiquette.
  • Follow all health, safety, and directional signage.
  • Adhere to capacity limits as posted.
  • Limit my visits to no more than 60 minutes per day and 30 minutes when using the cardio machines.
  • Pre-reserve my Group Fitness class through the online reservation software, show up for my booking and limit class attendance to once per day. If I am not able to attend a class that I have reserved, I will cancel my reservation online prior to the start of class.
  • Clean all workout equipment and other frequently touched objects before and after every use.
  • Come to the Y wearing my fitness attire and indoor shoes.
  • Use locker rooms at my discretion and adhere to maximum capacity signage for these spaces. I understand that physical distancing is everyone's responsibility. If I feel uncomfortable in any space, I will wear a mask or face shield or step away.
  • Bring a pre-filled water bottle to workout as no-touch fill stations will be available, but water fountains will not
  • BE KIND. I understand that I will be asked to leave the facility if I am not adhering to and/or following the guidelines, policies, procedures and/or the core values outlined by my YMCA.
