Our staff are now delivering services virtually. We are providing services by phone, email, and video conferencing to ensure we integrate social distancing and maintain the health and safety of staff and participants.

YMCA Community program locations in the Central and South Okanagan, including the Pandosy Street YMCA and our Foundry location in Penticton, will remain in operation with extra precautions in place to keep our community members and employees healthy. At this time, we are encouraging one on one appointments by phone, email, and video conferencing.

We ask that current and prospective participants make an appointment by calling 250-861-5627 or emailing

YMCA Mental Wellness & Mindfulness programs currently in operation will be completing the full delivery with extra precautions and modifications to keep our staff and participants safe. If you are a current participant of a YMCA mindfulness program, we encourage you to reach out to for details on changes to your program.

Mindfulness programs scheduled to run in the Spring will be postponed with new dates to be determined. Continue to check our program pages for more information on sessions registration dates and times.

  • Okanagan Boys and Girls at their Weber Road Club and Lake Country Club locations Please contact for more information.

We invite parents to join the Facebook group for engaging content (like live storytime sessions, crafts and music) and resource-sharing.

None at this time. We will communicate this information on our website in the coming days.

The health and well-being of our YMCA staff and participants is our highest priority. We’re stepping up our hygiene practices in all centres that remain open to keep our facilities clean and our communities safe, including increasing our cleaning frequency, making disinfectant sprays available, and ensuring remote and online services are delivered as a priority.

A daily COVID-19 screening tool has been implemented for all participants accessing in-person services. Participants who have self-screened or are presenting signs of sickness will be asked to leave our services and locations immediately.

Many staff in the Community Division, including employment and other social and life skills programs, remain delivering services in their communities.

We will communicate this information on the YMCA website in the coming days.
