There are lots of activities for your child to participate in at the Y, including:

COVID-19 restrictions have limited children's ability to engage in physical activity and play with their friends. Our focus is to get kids active and interactive at the Y.

At this time, to ensure proper 2-metre physical distancing within the Kelowna Family Y, we have had to adapt our gymnasium based on capacity restrictions and wellness programming. We will not be offering drop-in sports at this time and will revisit this as we know more about the risk of this pandemic in our community. We will continue to follow this pandemic closely and assess our local community's needs.

Yes! YMCA Preschool is open within the Kelowna Family Y and our child care team is now accepting registration for September. This program is for children ages 3–5 years old. Spaces are currently available in all four programs including M/W/F and T/Th groups, for both morning and afternoons. This trusted program and proven Playing to Learn Curriculum will prepare your child for kindergarten while keeping them active, social and engaged. Children in all YMCA child care programs receive a free YMCA child membership to access more programs for their health and development.
