Welcome to the H2O community where you can have fun, find support, make friends, be healthy and reach your potential. We do this by designing programs and offering services that respond to community needs—your needs. Whether you want to become healthier, introduce your child to new experiences and develop new skills or give back to your community, there is an opportunity for everyone to participate at H2O.

Member Etiquette

We are so glad that you have chosen to become a member of the Y. The H2O Adventure and Fitness Centre is a shared experience for everyone to enjoy. Members, volunteers and staff pledge to treat one another with respect and dignity and promote our core values.

Membership Card

Your card is your key to the facility. You are required to scan in each time you visit us at the Member Services desk. Should you lose your card, our Member Services staff will be happy to provide you with a replacement card for a cost of $2.00.

Program Information

For the most up-to-date information please check out our schedules or call 250-491-9622 for program information or registration. Full payment is required to hold your space in any program.

Child and Youth Memberships

Swim lessons; drop-in child and youth programs; and child minding are included with child and youth memberships.

Program Discounts

Members receive a 25% discount on all registered recreation programs including all specialty swimming lessons, educational/certification programs, and children’s birthday parties. Members discount does not include private swim lessons or facility rentals.

YMCA Reciprocal Program

The H2O Adventure + Fitness Centre is owned by the City of Kelowna and proudly operated by the YMCA. If you are a YMCA member from another city here on vacation or work we are happy to welcome you to our facility. Please bring in your current membership card and once we confirm your membership is in good standing you will be welcome to come use the centre. 

Please note, due to local operating agreements, memberships are non-transferable between H2O and Kelowna YMCA locations. If you have any questions please contact us at 250-491-9622. 

Lockers

We are pleased to offer complimentary locker use for our members. Simply exchange your membership card for a locker key at our Member Service Desk. At the end of your visit please relock the locker, remove the key and exchange it back for your membership card. Lockers are for single day use only and are emptied out every evening after closing.

Lost and Found

Lost and found items are kept in daily labeled containers along the corridor to the change rooms. They are emptied weekly, washed, and donated to a local charity. Smaller items of value are kept at the Member Services Desk and disposed of on a monthly basis.

Towels

Members are required to bring their own towels for use in our fitness and aquatic areas. If you happen to forget your towel, we will be happy to loan you one for a donation to the YMCA Strong Kids Charity.

Continuous Membership Renewal

If you have purchased a monthly continuous membership, this type of membership will renew automatically. Your monthly payment may increase or decrease on your joining anniversary date to reflect the current membership fees in effect. Fee changes will be communicated prior to their effective dates through the Y’s website and e-newsletter.
