Intro Step

YMCA step classes incorporate an adjustable, non-slip platform into a full workout.This beginner level step class will get your heart pumping and keep your mind busy with basic choreography and drills for all fitness and ability levels.You'll get support and inspiration from your certified YMCA instructor and other Y members as you follow a simple series of movements.

Step/Strength

This step class uses weights and balls to create step and strength intervals. This class is much less choreographed than a regular step class–no coordination required! This class helps condition and strengthen your various muscle groups. There will be a little bit of core exercise at the end to round out the workout.

Zumba

Zumba is a cardio class that combines Latin and international music wtih dance moves. Zumba routines incorporate interval training–alternating fast and slow rhythms. This Latin-based dance class is sure to get you sweating and having a blast as you tone and shape your whole body. No coordination required!
