Kelowna Family YMCA

Families with children ages 8–12

Feeling healthy is a slam dunk.

Join other families with children ages 8–12 who want to be on a path to healthy weight and lifestyle. Generation Health (formerly Family Healthy Living Program) is a free, 10-week program that will teach you skills to support your family’s health and quality of life, eat healthy, be more active and promote positive mental and social health.

Topics include:

  • Healthy eating and active living
  • Setting goals and using effective rewards
  • Healthy body image and self-esteem 
  • Creating positive family mealtimes and physical activity experiences
  • Family, food, and getting active outdoors
