Nuge, YMCA Connects

Nuge's Story

"YMCA Connects really helps bring you out of your shell. If I’d never taken the YMCA of Okanagan employment program, it would have taken me much longer to get to where I am today. The program helped me become more adult-like and made me care deeply about my career path."

Our charity is responding to COVID-19 including temporarily closing all YMCA recreation facilities during this time. Child care, virtual early years community services and career development services will continue to run. The most recent information can be found at

Ages 17-29

YMCA Connects is designed to enhance your personal development, education, and employment opportunities to move you closer to your career goals. Our free and virtual services are offered as a part of our exciting Career Development Services.
