Our community is suffering from declining health, social issues and economic inequality. The need is urgent. You can help.

More of us are facing serious health crises and barriers to wellbeing including poverty, obesity, inactivity, isolation and a decline in our mental health. Even more troubling is that many are struggling alone.

The YMCA is a hardworking charitable organization that exists to tackle these societal issues and help change lives for the better. Our mission to improve the health of our community goes much deeper than the traditional health and wellness model.

Together, with donors like you, we can address our community’s most critical needs by delivering high-impact, accessible and affordable programs focused on health, fitness and aquatics, child development, disease prevention, youth engagement, community initiatives, child care, employment readiness and mental wellness.

But we need your help—now, more than ever—to continue our vital work. Through the generosity of others, we ensure life-enriching programs and services are available to those who need us the most.

Our Greatest Needs

Essential Services Child Care

Impact on our community

On an annual basis, we provide subsidized access to YMCA programs to more than 5,500 community members. We are anticipating an increased need for subsidized access to programs due to the effects of COVID-19.

YMCA staff support

Protecting our community, members and staff

As a charity that provides programs and critical supports to members and vulnerable groups, our sources of revenues have been drastically reduced during the closures. As we implement and maintain new health measures and protective equipment/supplies in all our programs and facilities, these unbudgeted expenses are estimated to be over $50,000.

Virtual YMCA Services

Keeping everyone healthy and well

For many, the YMCA is their second home, a place they come to stay active, learn, connect and thrive. The Y is committed to the health of our communities and continues to provide virtual health and fitness classes employment services, mental wellness and children's activities at no cost to the community.
