The YMCA of Okanagan is planning to offer summer day camps if permitted and continues to follow the guidance and recommendations of Provincial health officials. Check this page on June 1 for a complete listing of summer camps and how to register.

“We understand that parents returning to work under BC’s restart program need care and healthy activities for their children during the summer months”, says Kelley Taylor, YMCA VP of Health Fitness & Aquatics. “The YMCA continues to monitor, adapt and plan in accordance with health authorities as the safety of children and our staff is our number one priority. We are weighing the steps to open and reduce risks including lowering camp capacities, reviewing activities and the space where they run to adhere to physical distancing directives – all while offering a memorable summer-camp experience.”

Refunds will be issued if any YMCA camp is cancelled or if you decide that your child is unable to attend.
